Visual Studio Project Template

  1. Be sure you have the ASP.NET and Web Tools 2012.2 Update installed. Download it here and install it.
  2. To get started with the Visual Studio Project template, download it from here.
  3. Once you've downloaded the VSIX, double click it to install it.
  4. Next, open Visual Studio and from the Start Page or File menu, select “New Project…”
  5. When the “New Project” dialog appears, choose “ASP.NET MVC 4 Web Application”.
  6. In the following dialog, you will be able to select your template. Choose “Durandal SPA Project”.

Visual Studio will now create your starter project.
